In the first Year 3 class, the children played Chinese whispers which were in different languages. This was because in the Pentecost story the apostles started talking in foreign languages. Each round of Chinese whispers ended up in an extremely funny word. Usually, it was completely different from the word at the beginning.
Before long, the class was in the second room where they made funny flame headbands. On each flame the English word 'Hello' was written in different languages. When everyone had finished making their crown, there was a game of musical statues. Miss Baker judged. She was very good at judging because her eyes could see every time someone moved.

Finally, the children were in the last classroom where they used silky, white ribbons to swirl around to represent the wailing wind in the Pentecost story.

It was a lovely sight when everyone waved their ribbons together. Also, whilst they whirled in different direction a winter wind sound could be heard.
To conclude, 3JB had an excellent day because of the strange headbands, funny words and whirling ribbons.
