Children in 3JH were set the following task: Think about your happiest moment and describe it (morning whiteboard activity).
"My happiest moment was when I bought my rabbit. She was so cute. When I touched her window, she touched with her paw. I felt in love at first sight."
Gabi

Lily
"The most happiest moment in my life was when my confession. I felt happier than I've ever been."
Tomas
"The most happiest moment of my life was when my little sister was born. I was so happy, I had a smile going from ear to ear. I also felt very excited."
Eliza
"My happiest moment was when Kaya came to my house for a sleepover. I was happy because me and Kaya got to have cookies and stay up watching T.V."
Layla
"My happiest time was when my family came to India to see me. I was crying with tears of happiness. Now love shone around, lots of cuddles. I felt a bit sad because my gandma looked after me, she fed me and took great care of me and now I had to leave her. A few years later she came to England and we celebrated my birthday."

3JB's Pentecost Party
On Friday 13th May, 2016, 3JB had a Pentecost party. During that day 3JB played Chinese whispers, made flaming crowns and whirled ribbons. Do you want to find out more?
In the first Year 3 class, the children played Chinese whispers which were in different languages. This was because in the Pentecost story the apostles started talking in foreign languages. Each round of Chinese whispers ended up in an extremely funny word. Usually, it was completely different from the word at the beginning.
Before long, the class was in the second room where they made funny flame headbands. On each flame the English word 'Hello' was written in different languages. When everyone had finished making their crown, there was a game of musical statues. Miss Baker judged. She was very good at judging because her eyes could see every time someone moved.

Finally, the children were in the last classroom where they used silky, white ribbons to swirl around to represent the wailing wind in the Pentecost story.
Whirling the ribbons |
It was a lovely sight when everyone waved their ribbons together. Also, whilst they whirled in different direction a winter wind sound could be heard.
To conclude, 3JB had an excellent day because of the strange headbands, funny words and whirling ribbons.
